Well, if this isn't a 'wake up and slay the world' ensemble, I don't know what is. There's just something about wearing all black, especially when it involves faux leather, that exudes fierceness and confidence, despite the fact that the person underneath couldn't be further from both.
I hadn't actually acknowledged how many leather layers I was wearing at the time but upon reflection, I somehow think it managed to pull itself off without looking too "oh shit, she's gone overboard"...though this has seemingly now been labelled my 'secret agent' outfit. Mi5, I'm coming for ya!
The combination of fur, with a hint of shearling, on this gilet is a winner for me and gives an alternate option to the standard shearling jacket whichI already own two of are floating about EVERYWHERE at the moment. Layered over a trusty, black roll-neck (possibly one of the most worn items in my winter wardrobe and a definite necessity for all) and paired with my favourite céline-inspired booties, it's safe to say anyone would be ready to take on the world.
Or failing that, at least the UK's winter wind if you're planning on following in my bare-legged footsteps...
